Team Sayujya Yoga believes in the above principle and specifically likes to focus on Alignment based Yoga practices which are aimed at engaging the muscles and protecting the joints by understanding the concepts of Compression and Muscle Tension.

One needs to be aware of his or her body limitations and practice Asanas accordingly. Only then is the definition of Asanas i.e. sthira-sukham-āsanam can be applied practically on the mat. There is no point in remaining in discomfort in Asanas; as it will not benefit and in the long run can lead to injury.

Guru and Mentor for Sayujya Yoga

  • Swami Taponidhi, after fifteen years living under the guidance of his Guru, Swami Niranjanand Saraswati, in Bihar School of Yoga, Munger, Bihar, India, is propagating and promoting the traditional goal of yoga.

  • Swami Taponidhi, as a parivrajak (wandering) sannyasin is freely spreading the message of yoga and with his vast teaching experience allowing the participants to choose appropriately while facing the events of life and thus improve the quality of their lives.

  • He did his certificate course and TTC in Yoga from Ghantali Mitra Mandal, Thane Mumbai in 1999.

  • He stood first in Mumbai University in 2001 on completion of ‘Diploma in Yogic Studies” 

  • He completed the ” Master of Science in Applied Yogic Sciences” from Bihar Yoga Bharati (the world’s first Yoga University), in 2003.

  • Swamiji has introduced Yoga Nidras with Tibetan Singing Bowls to enhance the experience of relaxation and awareness.
