Dr. Prutha Bhatt
Co-Founder, Sayujya Yoga PhD in Yoga
"Yoga is not a pursuit of bending the body, but a practice for mending the mind."
Since 2014, Dr. Prutha Bhatt has been a dedicated voice in the yoga community, moving the conversation away from performative aesthetics toward sustainable, holistic healing. As a PhD in Yoga, specialising in Injury Prevention in Asana, her approach is defined by a rare blend of scientific rigour and deep-rooted tradition.
Her teaching methodology is anchored in the 3 Ps:
Philosophy: Grounding the practice in ancient wisdom to provide mental clarity and purpose.
Physiology: Utilising a scientific understanding of the body to ensure every movement is safe, functional, and restorative.
Pedagogy: Applying refined teaching techniques to ensure that learning is accessible, impactful, and transformative for every student.
Before dedicating her life to Yoga, she served as a teacher of apparel design and manufacturing. This unique background provided her with a "structural" foundation—an eye for how systems are constructed and how they move under tension. She translated this mastery of external design into a mastery of internal alignment, focusing on how the human "architecture" can be supported to prevent injury and promote longevity.
At Sayujya Yoga, which she co-founded with her husband Hardik Mehta invites students to step beyond the physical pose. By blending philosophy, physiology, and pedagogy, she creates an environment where the mat becomes a space for both high-level education and profound personal restoration.

EXCELLENT Based on 196 reviews Posted on Vipin N VTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I started my 200hr yoga ttc on Nov 2026 and finished in May 2026 it was a week end batch Initially when we started we had a batch strength of 18 to 20 but as we progressed in our corse people started dropping in the first few months. Also in the 2nd month it self I had an ACCUTE ACL TEARN and doctors had strictly told me NOT TO DO YOGA any more .....things were looking very bleak and negative.....but I was very positive about my self and had trust on our teacher . I never wanted to give up what I started. The course content was very informative and deep...I have learnt a lot and still learning. Also through regular practice of asanas it has improved my flexibility to a certain extent and I feel there is still room to make it much better. In the course we learnt about anatomy, allignment which is very important for anyone who practices or teaches yoga before u do the asanas..I will continue my yogic sadhana.....our teachers mr hardik and ms prutha where quite supportive.......THANK U SAYUJYA YOGA FOR SHARING THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOGA TO ME AND TO OTHERS.Posted on Shameera PulikkanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joining the TTC program at Sayujya Yoga gave me a much deeper understanding of what it truly means to be a teacher. I realized that teaching is not just about sharing knowledge or guiding students through practices—it is a journey that demands patience, consistency, humility, and a sincere commitment to daily sadhana. Throughout the program, Hardik Sir and Dr. Prutha Ma'am exemplified these qualities beautifully. Their depth of knowledge is matched by their dedication to their own practice, making them exceptional yoga sadhaks and inspiring mentors. What stood out most was their patience and genuine willingness to support every student, regardless of where they were in their learning journey.
